Been watching Anthony Bourdain no reservations in Venice.

I really do love that place. Those little alleys make the place feel like a maze. Not suprisingly, Venetians are proud about their city and culture. They hate it when day-tourists (like me) go to their town and disturb their pace of life. Dolce Far Niente the sweet art of doing nothing. Italians are one of the few people I've met who I can feel their passion and love for life. Next time I travel, remind me to get anthony bourdain with me. This guy REALLY travels. those pastas and sardines. OMG.
