Lanvin for H&M
Well, today is the release of a new line of clothings from lanvin + H&M. She woke up at 6am, queued up with her friends and supposedly squeeze through the crowd to get a few things for me as well. awww, i'm so touched. But, I have absolutely no fashion awareness of what Lavin is. Apparently, it's some super high end brand which I may not have heard of at all. Girls really go the distance for this kind of stuff.
Speaking of fashion, I think my taste is pretty dull these days. It's been fred perry T-shirts and some occasional Zara long Ts. But, I've taken a liking for Japanese brands like Evisu, Y3, etc etc. It's super expensive and I don't see a point in getting fashion apparels from them now (I can't wear those outrageous clothes to work like i used to in school). However, these brand names excite me cos there are designs that is so my style, especially Y3.
Y3 uses simple black and white to great effect. Their high cut shoes cost like SGD 900+ which i think is ridiculous cos i can get 2 Japanese PS3s with that kind of money (this doesn't mean i'm not getting them in the future when i'm super duper rich !). And, she did bought me Bape.
How can an ape brand T-shirt cost >$130 for one! I though Silicon wafers were over priced until I took a look at these brands. Seriously, turn into a fashion designer already ! As for shoes, my personal favorite is Onitsuka Tiger but they don't have nice white shoes. So during shopping last sunday, I settled for a pair of Puma whites.
Sometimes, I wonder why I am an engineer and how do i end up doing engineering. Beats me left right center.
Wow this is turning into a fashion blog
Had a nice meal today at Al Forno's with my colleague. It's nice to have a good meal once in a while and Al Forno is simply my favourite. I send my colleague back home around the area and passed by TJC. It's been 7 years and now i've graduated, working and driving my own car pass the very stupid back gate which I have to climb over last time after soccer practice. I suddenly feel that I aged a lot but deep inside, the proud, childish and opinionated boy still lives on. :)

Of passion
It sickens me that people around me have either no passion in anything they do or it burns out quickly.
Well actually, this rant is probably due to lack of soccer in recent weeks. I used to play soccer at 6pm everyday around my neighbourhood. Normally, we can get around 8-12 people easily. Back were the days when everyone was super gung-ho about soccer. Eat, sleep, talk soccer, u name it we do it. Nowadays, due to work, NS, girlfriends, etc etc, the numbers decrease to a pathetic number. Fair enough, not everyone is as "free" as me. But even on weekends, gathering 8 is still a problem (1 team = 4 players). I don't get it. If you really have a passion for something, won't you sacrifice some time for it? Dun just say "I love soccer" when in fact, it's just a "hobby" or something to kill time with. Now that I have started work, I will still drive down like a madman from office to try to make it back in time for soccer, albeit late. For the past 18 years of my life, I still hold soccer firmly as my "top 3 love-of-my-life". I'm proud to say that my passion never die one bit.
Speaking of passion, I dun understand how so many people can get by being sucked into a routine without much ahead directions. Feels like a living corpse if you ask me. Passion are reserved for those who truly want to live life. Even if it's collecting stamps, if you have passion, you truly deserve my respect.

Having a car
I wonder why after having my own car, I seem to stay at home more than usual.
Maybe there's the other factor called work fatigue.
Anyways, I still love my Mitsubishi :)
