hello blog i'm still alive n kicking. woke up today with a temp of 38.4 again. but i quickly gulp down lots of water n use a cloth to cool myself. it went down all the way to 36.4. better dun get att c anymore. later OOC !

today , i still feel feverish. i ate the medicine i rested yet i'm still not well. what is happening to me. starting to get worried. i think it's the accumulation of physical exhaustion since day one in BMT. sux

ahem, i'm sick again. coughed blood in my phlegm and vomitted. doc gave me another 4 days mc. will i be well ?

while i was resting i read my book "the curious incident of the dog in the night time"
there's this v. interesting maths q.

"you are a game show on television. on this game show the idea is to win a car as a prize. the game show host show u 3 doors.he says that there is a car behind the one of the doors and goats hehind the other two doors. He asks you to pick a door. you pick a door but the door is not open. then the host opens one of the doors u didn't pick to show a goat. Then he says that you have one final chance to change your mind before the doors are open and you get a car or a goat.so he asks you if you want to change your mind and pick the other unopened door instead. wat should you do. ? "

By intuition many of us will think that it doesn't make a difference cos the chance that the unopen door will win you a car is 50-50. However, suprise suprise. this is not so. ANS is that u should pick the other unopened door cos the probabilty that you will win the prize is 2/3. want the mathematical solution, it's in the book. i'm too lazy to type it out maybe next time.

this q was solved by Marilyn vos Savant , she has the highest IQ in the world in the Guinnes Book world of Records Hall of fame. many PHDs, scientist and mathematicians argued with her over her solution. yet, she's right.

This is like old time catholic church when people condemn Galileo for his theory of the sun and the earth . people are just so unopen in the mind that's why they cannot see new things.

well, u must be wondering why i blogged on a weekday. YES, i've att c (sick) n can stay home for three days. After excerise NUTCRACKER ( i dug a fire trench n 2 shellscrape with my buddy throughout the night without sleeping ) , i became exhausted, shagged out, breatheless. u name it. in the end, felt cold reported sick. voola. here i am at home.

sispec is going to end soon. after bslc, i dunno where i will go man. but i am going to be a coporal soon. two more excerise left. GRANDSLAM n 32km n ill pass out as a coporal. by then, i will leave my dear section mates. my buddy has been wonderful to me. attending to me whenever he can cos i just keep falling sick this two weeks.

wenqing is always giving tuition n teaching no time for me but it's alright, i still have soccer, ps2 n my buddies. hehe. she's going malaysia so i'm gonna play soccer. i've found myself a new hobby. ahem, reading yes, ahem reading. completed quite a few books in camp already. reading " the curious incident of the dog in the night time" now. it's pretty not bad. wanna buy " lord of the flies" ( YES IT"S LORD OF THE FLIES NOT LOTR). vince read it last time for his lit book n i read a bit of it. wanna get the hard cover copy at kino but it's quite ex.

ok i must say, sispec is getting better for me everyday. i have very good section mates . there are altogether 10 of us and within a period of 4 weeks i must say we bonded very close. this is probably becos we have to work as a section and tat's wat sispec is all about.
did i mention that i finally got a gold for ippt ! haha. all the tough training have finally paid off. i ran 9.39 min for 2.4. my new record for myself ! and i can get a day off (dunno when) for it. damn happy !
right now, i'm just super busy ! So josh and khas keep in contact !
